Slewing Rings

Slewing Bearings or Rings, are generally preferred in cases where very heavy load carrying values and slow rotation are required. It manages to provide axial, radial and moment loads mostly on horizontal platforms (used in applications such as construction cranes, mills, windmills, turret systems.) Unlike traditional bearings, they are quite wide and have holes on their surfaces to provide structural fixation. These bearings, whose diameters reach up to 15,000mm, are available in different types such as roller, single and double row balls.
